Awestruck
On a recent journal piece ([link], I changed my "mood icon" from distressed to relieved and stated the following: "We just have to trust God and His plan for our lives. It is our reaction to these things that happen to us that is more important than the event itself." I made a conscious decision to do everything I could, but to not stress over things that God, not me, is in control of. As you heard in my last post, my insurance has been reinstated. That was a HUGE blessing. On top of that though, one of my internet friends suspected that all these medical expenses were not in my budget and sent me a gift of some money. It was hundreds of dollars - and the EXACT amount that our unplanned medical expenses from the last three weeks totaled up to. Some may chalk that up to coincidence. I know God's hand when I see it though. If anything deserves an "awestruck" mood icon, this is it....
