I'd like to propose an Incendia Contest! I've uploaded a set of parameters called IncendiaContest.par (and a sample JPG as well) to the Incendia Chat Logs folder (type in "logs" in the chat room for the link). Rules of the contest are simple. Keep the same texture selection and objects, but change anything else you want. Change the fractal type, lighting, the positions of the objects, their depth or radius or any of their other settings, vol-fog, skylight, orientation of any of the objects, and so forth. Add new objects and shrink the original ones. As long as those three object types in those three textures/color-schemes are visible, it counts.
Be creative! And, when you have a piece ready to submit, post your submission here on DA and note me with the link. I'll update this journal piece with thumbnails for each submission. And, if you would like to share your parameters, there is a FTP drag-and-drop utility in that same logs folder that will let you upload your parameters to that folder.
I have nothing to offer a winner, but I think it would be kinda fun to see what different people (especially the one developer guy that has 120 fractals in his setup!) can come up with starting with a single set of parameters. Just so you will know ahead of time, my submission to the contest will be nothing more than a zoomed in version of the contest parameters...the base as it were.

can I submit this please :thumb96426113:
I just added it.
I hope Aexion does release the trial soon. I'd like to be able to participate too,
I think it might be a good idea to have this contest when it's released to everyone. It sort of limits those who can participate.
I'm not deleting the parameters and there is no time limit. Aexion may be releasing an open trial very soon. Keep your fingers crossed....
cool, I would participate but the author of the program never responded to me even though I was one of the very first people to request it, I know the rest of the story, ah well, Good luck with it D
Sounds excellent. I'm quite looking forward to this!
